Mitarbeiter erwarten heute einen unkomplizierten Zugriff auf alles, was sie benötigen, von überall und auf jedem Gerät.
Aber nur weil Ihre Anwendungen und Daten das Gebäude verlassen haben, bedeutet das nicht, dass Sie sich von der IT-Security verabschieden müssen. Passwords Expirations, Password Changes and Password resets have been a major pain point for users of mobile devices in a Kerberos environment. It was often the case that if your support team was resetting a user’s password and forcing the user to change the password after login, the user would’ve needed to switch to a Windows machine to do so. This is the same story if the password had expired.
Beginning with Hypergate v.1.4.x both Basic and Professional version will include two new features:
- On Mobile AD/Kerberos Password Change
- On Mobile AD/Kerberos Password Expiration Prompt
The major benefits of this are twofold:
- It helps to eliminate the cost of wasted user time and support time.
- It allows an employee to be truly mobile. This means that the employee has no dependence on having to use a computer to complete their work.
